Hi,
I came across your blog online. My name is Cheryl Faneca, and I am a graduate student for the Department of Communication Studies at Texas Tech University, in Lubbock, Texas. Together with my advisor, I am doing research on mother-daughter communication after daughters have left the home to go to college. My hope is to further understand the communication that takes place between mothers and daughters, how that communication changes, and maintenance behaviors once the daughter moves out of the home.
I am looking for dyads of daughters and mothers who are at least 18 years old and have experienced or are in the process of experiencing the transition of the daughter moving away from home.
If you meet these criteria and are interested in participating and helping me with my research endeavors or if you know of someone else who might be interested please contact me at Cheryl.Faneca@ttu.edu. Also if you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself at the above email address.
Thank you very much!
